Since 1995 the Rattray family have been carefully hand selecting vegetables grown on their certifi ed organic farms in Tasmania, Australia’s island state world famous for its clean air, pristine environment, fertile soils and disease free natural produce.

The home farm at Pyengana, (the inspiration for our logo), is surrounded by more than 2000 hectares of native eucalypt and myrtle forest, the most ideal setting for organic farming.

Within this oasis, our soils, enriched by millions of years of rain-forest leaf litter…

are maintained by us using compost, mineral bearing rock dusts, kelp and green manure crops that are ploughed in to create a truly living soil, brimming with humus, beneficial fungi and micro-nutrients. By maintaining healthy soils we produce healthy food.
